We wanted to wish you a Happy Earth Day today and encourage you to do something for the environment. We've done a few things ourselves such as packing a lunch with all reusable items (I'm actually shocked at how hard it was to not use saran wrap, juice box, zip lock bags or anything in a wrapper - we have become SO dependant on this stuff!). We are also walking our daughter home from school today instead of using a vehicle, we are planning to pick up trash along the way too. Later, we will be logging on to www.ecomii.com/ecopedia/carbon-footprint to calculate our carbon footprint on the earth and to see what we can do to reduce it.

Yep - we had to do litter-less lunches too so I sent their thermos' and dug out all kinds of tupperware dishes!!
